It’s DOJO Time!
Here’s how dojo’s work:

Your child can earn dojo points for exhibiting
certain types of ’positive’ behavior in the classroom.

The
classroom game board is set up to where they get an award for every 50 points
they earn.
·
The BIG goal will be when they get to 100. This
is when they will reach the ‘100 points CLUB’ and their name will be displayed
on the game board for all to see (they will also get a fancy necklace with a
100 charm).
·
As for communicating this with parents… the
online website is very interactive. You can log in any time to check your
child’s dojos, print reports and see comments I leave (there is also a DOJO
app).

The kiddos can also go on there and create/change
their own DOJO and write me messages back!

There are two logins that I am sending home, one
for the parent and one for the student. You have to do both so that your kid
can change their dojo and that you can check their progress.
