Today the kiddos participated in a cooperative activity called "Quiz Quiz Trade". This cooperative-learning technique has students review information with other students by asking and answering questions. Working with peers in a nonthreatening manner builds confidence, encourages greater participation, and results in more thoughtful discussions.
Today's topic was "Do you like... (the food that was on their picture card)?"
I like to take our learning outside any chance that I get (if you want to send in a pair of sunglasses for your child, that's totally fine with me). So every Tuesday I designate as "Take It Outside Tuesday" for our class. Today, we did a little math outside to work on expectations and routines of completing learning outside.
