Happy Holidays!!!

Hi there! Just a little blog update for you! We have been studying about the different holidays around the world, and the kids have been LOVING it. We have studied Christmas in different countries, including our own, Hanukkah and the history of why Jewish people celebrate Hanukkah, and Kwanza! We have really enjoyed this unit as the kids are continuing to get more and more excited for the winter break! I want to welcome any of you who celebrate a different holiday to contact me if you'd like to come in and share your holiday with the class. We had a parent share with our students about Hanukkah, and they thoroughly enjoyed it! With this unit, we are "travelling" to different countries, and we are learning about how they celebrate holidays differently they we might here in the United States. We have a "passport" and everything that we add a new country to after we've visited! It's been really fun and a super cute project for the kids to get to share with you once completed! Please ask them lots of questions about what it is they're learning!!!
