***BUGZ PLAY***

On Tuesday, May 13th, the first grade will produce the musical “Bugz”. We will be working very hard over the next couple of weeks on our performance. Each first grade class will be a dressed as a particular bug, and every child’s part is very important. Each child will either have a speaking part or dancing part in the musical.
Our class will be butterflies and caterpillars. The boys will need to wear a GREEN shirt and the girls will need to wear a PINK shirt for the play. We would like every child to wear a specific color solid t-shirt. Please send in a solid colored t-shirt by Thursday, May 1st. If you need help finding a shirt, please let us know as soon as possible.

Since every child will either have a speaking or dancing part in the musical, we need your help at home to practice their lines. They need to be able to read the lines fluently, and project their voice loudly with expression. We would like students to have their lines memorized. Your child will be sharing a speaking part with another student in their class. Please practice the lines that were sent home on the PINK paper.

ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE....
It will be on May 13th at 1pm and again at 6pm. We ask that all students attend both performances. If you know your child will not be here for one of the performances, please let me know as soon as possible so that we can get their lines covered.
