Comprehension: We are spending another week on text features. Continue to reinforce this skill as you read books together at home.
Writing: The kiddos have been learning all about different types of penguins and recording important facts about each one. I will try and take some pictures of their journals and post them. They are super cute!
Math: We are in week two of our place value unit. Today, I introduced comparing numbers. We will work on comparing numbers all week. Check out this video on how your child learns this topic.

Wellington VIP Club!
1-2 students will be chosen weekly who demonstrate(s) character, personal best, hard work, improvement, etc. The VIPs will be announced each Monday to our class and be given a VIP lanyard to wear all week. At the end of the week the VIPs can keep the certificate in the lanyard as a keepsake. On Fridays the VIPs are invited to have lunch with a friend on the stage.
