This Week...

Homework is coming home today in the BLUE Wellington folder. Please complete ONLY the top sheet (front side only) tonight and return it tomorrow. I will go over it with your child tomorrow and return the packet, so that the next page can be completed. Please only complete one page every night. If you skip ahead, there might be content that we haven't covered yet in class. YOUR CHILD IS NOT EXPECTED TO READ EVERYTHING. If your child is feeling frustrated or taking more than 20 minutes on their homework, please write me a note. I will go over it in class with them one-on-one. Homework at this age is so that your child knows that they have a responsibility after school, it's not to frustrate them.

In addition to the homework packet, please study the spelling words that your child wrote in their agenda. The last two are bonus words. I would like every child to try them. If they get them incorrect, it will not count against them.

I can identify and follow agreed upon rules for discussion.
I can print all uppercase letters correctly. (on going)
I can print all lowercase letters correctly. (on going)
I can write a simple telling sentence.
I can read amd write 0 to 10 in numbers and words.
I can compare two sets of objects by using one-to-one correcspondance.
I can identify the set that has more, fewer, or the same number of objects.
I can identify the number that is greater than or less than another number.

Please try and use the "verbage" from the outcomes at home with your child.
