This Week's Specials

Wednesday-Library (don't forget your books!)
Thursday- Field Trip (we will miss music this day)

Books in baggies will come home tomorrow! Please have your child read their book every night. Let me know if the book I send is too hard. I have tried to align the books to your child's independent reading level (In class, I work on their instructional level, which is usually one level higher than what I send home.). The first couple nights, your child might need help with the words but by Friday they should be able to read their book fluently. They will get a new book every Monday.

Thursday is our field trip to the Orchard. Here are a few reminders:

  • Wear your Wellington shirt from this year.
  • If you are bringing lunch, please send it in all disposable containers.
  • There will be an opportunity to pay for extras (feed the animals) if you would like to send your child with a couple extra dollars.
  • Chaperones, please meet us there at 9:45. When we arrive, I'll get your bracelet for you. Here the location information: EVANS ORCHARD • 198 Stone Road, Georgetown, KY 40324 • (502) 863-2255
